Being there are so many breathtaking waterfalls within relatively short distances of our properties, we’d like to take this opportunity to carve out a little blog section and shine some light on these magnificent gifts from God.
If you are travelling through the area (whether heading N, S, W or W), we encourage you to add-in a little extra time during your route to visit some of these attractions, as we’re confident it’ll create an unforgettable memory for you and your loved ones – other than gas money, they are basically free, and with many of them, you can be back on the road in as little as 30 minutes.
“Waterfalls are the bacon of landscape photography; there’s nothing they don’t make better”
One of the underlying objectives of this website is to provide some analysis on these waterfalls and share with you some first-hand experiences from those who’ve had the pleasure of visiting these wonderful waterscapes. Our plan is to add in our very own “top ten” list of all the waterfalls in Tennessee, but for now, we encourage you to simply dig in to Youtube and watch a few vides to help you remind you how beautiful nature really is. “Best waterfalls in Tennessee” would be a great wat to start your search.!
For each of our properties featured on this website, we’ve compiled a short database of all waterfalls within their respective areas. Each list includes every waterfall within two hours of the property, sorted by driving distance – nearest to farthest. Also, included in this list are Google Visitor ratings and degree of difficulty (if applicable) in regards to hiking strenuosity.
You can find this information on each of our property pages about halfway down the page directly above the Farming and Garden report.
To round-out today’s waterfall snapshot, below you will find a hand-crafted Google map which includes every single waterfall in our surrounding areas. Please note, that due to the sizeable number of waterfalls, the map below resembles a huge mess if icons – to help catch your breath, zooming-in will allow you differentiate each waterfall, and clicking on each one will take you to the World Waterfall database, which provides a bit more detailed information on the respective attraction.
